Submit A Case
Before submitting a case for biological fluid identification or DNA testing, please call our technical services team at 703-646-9740 to discuss pricing, turnaround time, test plan, CODIS eligibility and other considerations specific to your case.
All cases must be accompanied by a Case Submission Form or the evidence will be returned. Our technical services team members are available to assist with the paperwork and reachable at 703-646-9740.
Evidence should be packaged and shipped by someone professionally trained in evidence handling and chain of custody and sent for overnight delivery using a traceable courier (FedEx, UPS, etc) with a tracking number and signature required. This will help maintain proper chain of custody for the evidence. Make sure evidence will arrive at our lab from Monday through Friday only. Do not ship to a specific person as this may compromise the chain of custody. For hand deliveries, you must contact the technical services team at 703-646-9740 to set up an appointment for the delivery.
Please be aware that Bode Cellmark does not accept firearms (including airguns), drugs or large sums of cash for case submission. Samples (acquired through the use of swabs) from these items may be submitted for testing. Drug packaging may be submitted as long as all drugs have been removed.
